All rentals are on a weekly basis ONLY, no weekend rentals except for Memorial Day and Labor Day. Each rental period requires a $400 refundable security deposit.

Payment Schedule
1. 50% of rental fee due within seven (7) days of reservation.
2. 50% of rental fee due six (6) weeks in advance of check-in.
3. $400 security deposit (refundable) due six (6) weeks in advance of check-in.

People ask us why we rent from Sunday to Sunday. It is an easy answer: so you can start and end your vacation in the most care-free way as possible. Topsail Island is quiet, especially where we are on the southern end of the island. However, there is only one bridge to the Southern end. A two lane road approaches the bridge and a two lane road brings you from the bridge to our place (5 miles). On Saturdays, the traffic is terribly congested. Everyone is leaving and entering the island at the same time.

The Cottage is cleaned and inspected after each visit to make sure it has been left in good order and nothing is missing. As soon as the cottage has been checked and all is well, your deposit check will be mailed to you OR it will be shredded - depending upon your wishes; that is why the deposit check ($400) is to be separate from the rental check.

As in the past, there are three (3) discount options for Summer Season rentals only.
(A) Educators receive a $80 discount for summer rentals only; must be booked by May 1, 2024.*
(B) Others can save $50 if both the deposit and the contract are received within seven (7) days of reservation; must be booked by May 1, 2024.*
(C) Book two (2) consecutive weeks in Summer Season and receive a $200 discount.*
